Some secondary losses include; the loss of shared dreams, emotional support, normalcy, couple status, confidant, identity, co-parent, financial security, intimacy, shared past, best friend, security, togetherness, someone to help make decisions, someone to help with the home, and more.
Beauty from Ashes Ministries helps in empowering widows in grief and beyond as they take on this role in singleness.
We continue to have new workshops every year. Some examples of the workshops that we have had in the past are Home Maintenance, Wheel of Life, Heaven, and Grief and the Holidays.
